Our Panama was founded in 2019 by its founder and CEO, Rubén Macías, driven by a simple but powerful conviction: Panama has wonders the world deserves to see. Since 2016, Rubén has travelled the country systematically, uncovering the genuine destinations that are now at the heart of our experiences.
The team grew over time: Ronny Gaitán joined in 2021 and Edgardo Sandoval in 2023. Today we are a multidisciplinary team with more than six years of continuous operation, working with travel agencies, wholesale operators and companies as well as independent travellers who want to experience Panama authentically and without the hassle.
We operate as a certified DMC and tour operator under an ATP Type A licence, with certified bilingual guides and an established network of local partners that guarantees quality, authenticity and responsibility in every service.
We believe travelling well means connecting for real: with nature, with communities and with yourself.
Our Panama works on a sustainable, community-based tourism model, side by side with the Guna, Emberá and Ngäbe communities, among others, who share their land, their history and their knowledge with every traveller we host. We are not middlemen: we are partners of the people who make the experience possible.
