APIMA Honey Tasting

Immerse yourself in a unique sensory experience where you will be able to taste honey and pollen in their natural state. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take home a special souvenir: create your own beeswax candle, handmade by you!

APIMA, Panama’s longest-standing honey brand, shares its history and production processes so you can understand how honey reaches your home fresh and full of its natural benefits, as if it had just been taken directly from the hive.

You will also be able to observe a real-size display beehive, an educational and entertaining experience for both adults and children.

To top it all off, you will taste three different types of honey and pollen in their natural state — a true delight for your senses!

ITINERARY:

For guests using our transportation from Los Establos Plaza, Local #18 in downtown Boquete, please make sure to arrive at the office 20 minutes before your scheduled time, as indicated in your reservation.

If you prefer to arrive on your own, you may arrive at the park 15 minutes before the time stated in your reservation. This is because registration must be completed before the activity begins.

Example: If the activity begins at 8:30 a.m. at the park, 8:15 a.m. is the arrival time for guests arriving on their own. Guests using our transportation should follow the time indicated on the website and arrive 20 minutes early for registration to ensure timely departure on the shuttle.

Important: this example applies to all schedules.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Avoid wearing perfumes or fragrances (liquid or cream).
Minimum age is 5 years old, and children must be accompanied by their parents or a responsible guardian at all times. Minors are not allowed alone in the tasting room.
It is not necessary to brush your teeth before the tasting, as doing so may alter your palate.
Follow the guide’s recommendations.
We suggest avoiding candies, mints, chewing gum, or lozenges before the tasting.
