IMPORTANT NOTES:

• An interview will be conducted beforehand to assess the participants##MG=C_S## physical condition.

• Participants must be in good health and not have allergies or any illness that limits their physical capabilities.

• The hike goes through rough terrain, wooded areas, and very steep hills. Please note that you should not carry a backpack weighing more than 40 lbs.

ITINERARY:

Day 0 (Departure): Depart from Panama City at 7:30 p.m. heading towards Volcán, Chiriquí, with two stops along the way.

Day 1: Arrive at the starting point at 5:00 a.m. for registration and warm-up. Begin the 8-10 hour hike with stops for rest and hydration. Reach the summit between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to enjoy the sunset, followed by camp setup and rest.

Day 2: Experience the sunrise at the summit at 5:00 a.m., have breakfast, and prepare for the descent. After the descent, there will be time for cleaning and changing clothes before returning to Panama City.

IMPORTANT TO BRING:

• Sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and skin moisturizer.
• It##MG=C_S##s important that all passengers present a personal identification document.
• Sunglasses, flashlights, hat/cap, and a waterproof bag for cameras and cell phones.
• Sneakers or boots with soles for rocky terrain (no new footwear).
• Balaclava, gloves, and warm clothing for the cold.
• Loose clothing for long-distance walking and clothes for bathing in the waterfall.
• Thermal pad, sleeping bag, water for the journey, and a black trash bag.
• If you take medication, bring your extra daily dose with you.
