Have you ever experienced what it feels like to breathe underwater? If you want to try diving but are not yet ready to join a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. Although it is not a diving certification course, it is a quick and easy introduction to exploring the underwater world.

With Discover Scuba Diving, you will learn the basic fundamentals needed to dive under the direct supervision of a professional. During your first dive, you will learn how it feels to use scuba equipment and how easy it is to move through the water while wearing it, experience what it is like to breathe underwater, and discover whether you feel comfortable in that environment.

You will also learn basic exercises and safety rules that will guide you toward a full certification course when you take the next step. You will dive to a maximum depth of 10 to 12 meters accompanied by an instructor.

PICK-UP LOCATION: Coiba Expedition Dive Center

START TIME: 7:45 a.m.

DURATION: 8 hours

THE TOUR INCLUDES:

Full diving equipment

Two dives (inmersion sessions)

Maritime transportation to Coiba National Park

Snacks (sandwich, water, cookies, and fruits)

Oxygen kit, first aid kit, GPS, communication radio, compass, and a qualified team to provide an excellent experience

THE TOUR DOES NOT INCLUDE:

Entrance fee to Coiba National Park

Entrance fee for nationals or residents: USD 5

Entrance fee for foreigners: USD 20

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Activities that cannot be done: Visit to Granito de Oro Island (environmental impact).

It is very important to confirm attendance before the tour, even if the full payment has already been made in advance, as many times people do not show up and do not notify us.

Coiba Expedition is exempt from all responsibility and from issuing any refund of money paid or deposited when the person does not cancel their attendance to the scheduled tour at least 4 days in advance.

ITINERARY:

Meeting point: Coiba Expedition Dive Center at 7:45 a.m.
Departure to Coiba National Park at approximately 8:30 a.m.
First dive: Exercises and dive at Coiba National Park, followed by a swim/exploration.
Surface interval (snack break).
Second dive at Coiba National Park.
Return to Santa Catalina between approximately 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
