City and Panama Canal Tour - Shared

In this impressive shared City Tour through Panama City, you will discover the fascinating history and evolution of this unique destination.

During the tour of the ruins of Panamá Viejo, you will learn about the first Spanish settlement on the Pacific coast of the Americas and what life was like during that time.

In addition, we will explore the modern city and its rich cultural heritage, understanding Panama’s transformation throughout history: from the arrival of the Spanish, its union with Gran Colombia, the separation and independence, the American influence during the construction of the Panama Canal, to achieving full sovereignty over its territory.

We will visit the city’s most iconic landmarks, and you will also learn about the operation of the Panama Canal, one of the most important engineering works in the world.
